This creative sewing project is really very easy to make.
It can become a little gift appreciated by lovers of embroidery, patch work or sewing in general. You can keep the scissors in order and then hang the container on the wall of the tools you use for sewing.
By changing the size of the pattern you can sew a larger or smaller scissor holder than the one shown in the tutorial.
Finished dimensions of the project 28×11 cm.
Materials and Tools
Draw the shape and prepare the fabrics
Iron the fliseline onto the wrong side of a rectangle of fabric.
Design the paper pattern.
Place the fabrics right sides together, pin and sew along the drawn line, leaving one part open.
Cut out the paper pattern shape, leaving a 0.5 cm margin.
Shred the round parts and corners.
Turn inside out from the opening. Take out corners and round parts, iron.
Sew the serpentine
After turning and ironing, sew the serpentine on two sides of the project, making a loop on the round part.
Fold and sew the scissor holder
Once the serpentine has been sewn, fold the scissor holder, following the fold lines marked on the paper pattern.
Sew around the perimeter of the project to close the 3 pockets.
Glue or sew on a button or decorative appliqué.
