This creative sewing project is really beautiful and easy to do!
The characteristic part is the tubular metal closure which is available in various sizes on the market.
Here I used the 25 cm one.
The body of necessary it is quilted and the use of foam padding allows the project to have a well-defined and compact shape.
You can change the size of the starting rectangles to fit the length of the closure.
The finished dimensions of the project are 25x15x15 cm.

- 2 pieces of medium fliseline measuring 14 x 41 cm

Prepare i tags
Iron each of the 2 5×9 cm rectangles into 4 parts.
Fold the parts and make two parallel seams on the long side.
Prepare the opening part
Iron the medium fliseline onto the 2 14×41 cm rectangles.
Fold each part into 2 halves on the wrong side.
Sew the short sides together, cut the corners and turn right side out.
Iron and fold in half, securing everything with clips.
Quilt the outer panels
Place each panel intended for the outside on the padding rectangle.
Using the 45 degree line marked on the cutting mat and a square, mark 2 perpendicular lines on the large exterior panel.
Attach the guide to the walking foot and sew a grid of lines 3cm apart onto the 2 panels.
With the 7.5 cm square of card, mark and cut 2 corners on the long side for each quilt panel.
Sew the closure
Attach the tag to the middle of the second long side of the quilt panel.
Sew to secure it.
Place the strip folded in half on top and sew.
Prepare the lining
After ironing the medium fliseline on the wrong side of the 2 parts of the lining, mark and cut the 2 7.5 cm squares here too as done for the main panels.
Place the lining part on each panel, right sides facing, and sew on the long side to join the 2 parts together.
Assemble the toiletry bag
Open the sewn parts.
Position the 2 parts right sides together, ensuring that on one side there are the 2 external faces and on the other the internal ones.
Flatten the 4 corners. Pin and sew.
Turn the toiletry bag right side out.
Close the opening with a machine or hand stitch with a hidden stitch.
Place the lining inside the main bag and insert the metal closure into the tube located on the edge of the toiletry bag.
Use pliers to remove the lateral support pins of the closure. Once the latch is inserted, reinsert the pins and screw in the latches.
